Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your KinetiPlate AI account and all of the personal data associated with it. You can do this yourself from inside the app, or request deletion by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — Delete from within the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:

1. Open the KinetiPlate AI app and sign in.
2. Go to the Settings tab.
3. Tap Delete My Account.
4. Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are erased from our servers immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you have already uninstalled the app, email us from the address associated with your account and we will delete it for you:

We process email deletion requests within 30 days, and usually much sooner.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove all of the following from our servers:

• Your profile (name, email, gender, date of birth, height, weight, fitness goal, and calorie/macro targets)
• Your pantry items and any custom ingredients you added
• All AI-generated meal plans and your meal-completion history
• Your weight history and progress chart data
• Grocery suggestions and favorites
• Any meal photos you uploaded
• Your subscription records held by us
• Your KinetiPlate AI authentication account (Firebase)

What is kept, and for how long

We do not retain your personal data after deletion, with one exception: encrypted system backups that may still contain your data are purged within 30 days of the deletion request. We may retain a minimal, anonymised record only where required by law (for example, tax or transaction records related to a purchase).
